Kids' Time
Elementary School kids have their own special program during the Message at Big Life C.C. They have a Bible-based curriculum and learn the core lessons of the faith through crafts, games, and stories.
Junior High School Activities
Junior High Students are learning how to transition from Kids' Time into worshipers. They have a special follow-along sheet to use during worship and a 15 - 20 minute break out group after worship.
Mid Week Youth Groups
Wyldlife Junior High School GroupWe advocate and support for the Community Youth Groups offered through Young Life and Wyld Life. These groups are open to any kid in area schools and meet weekly and are led by local area directors with the Young Life organization.
The Oswego area is led by Ashley Salis: "A few quick explanations about Young Life: CLUB: "a party with a purpose"- we play games (some that are extremely organized, some that don't seem to be but are that way for a reason), sing songs, kids laugh at the leaders, a short message from the heart of a different leader each week about who Jesus is and what He has done for them, and in their lives, and then some context conversation before they head back off to you! CAMPAIGNERS: "a Bible study"- again we play a few games to warm the kids up, and continue the conversation we had at club the week before, but this time we go a little deeper. Ask more meaningful questions, and learn together with our friends about Jesus's love for us! To start campaigners we like to share a meal together. It is a great sense of community to enjoy food, and laugh and share stories! The number in attendance will probably be 10-25. Young & Wyld: Young Life and WyldLife club, this will happen probably twice a semester and is a great way for both our junior high ministry and high school ministry to come together and have A HUGE PARTY!!! Should you have any questions please DO NOT HESITATE to contact me via email, text, or phone call. My cell phone number is 847.217.9787" -Ashley Salis Oswego Wyldlife Director |

Young Life thinks the world of high school kids. We believe that high school kids deserve to know what life can hold for them. Young Life leaders are caring adults who come sharing hope as well as fun and lasting friendships with kids. Young Life is also all about fun. From club and camp to Campaigners and other activities, teenagers will have blast laughing, trying new things and being with their friends.
Even though Young Life is especially for high schoolers, parents and other adults in the community are important to Young Life. Adults can support Young Life in a variety of ways — by becoming a volunteer leader or committee member, by attending a Young Life fund-raising event, by hosting Young Life or by simply telling others in the community about Young Life and its commitment to kids.

Camping and Retreat Ministry
Camping Ministry will be offered through WyldLife and YoungLife. The camps are a shared experience with volunteers, counselors, and directors from several churches contributing to making a great faith experience for kids. Most kids go to camp and come back having experienced the "best week of their lives." Camp is an all out experience at YoungLife unlike anything else. It is designed to bring kids together with each other and with Jesus. Contact the local area director of YoungLife for details!
