PneuProject was founded in 2011 to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that proclaiming faith in Jesus and following His Way is a completely life-changing transformation. We believe it causes a radical shift from being completely stuck within the despair and hopelessness of the material, to living a life that is fully alive, physically and spiritually, now and forevermore.
We believe following Christ results in receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit, allowing each Jesus-follower access to the voice of the Lord who created and cares for them. The remarkable accessibility and leadership of the Holy Spirit brings spiritual unity, power, and agreement through prayer and discernment to those who submit themselves to the leading of the Christ. We are submitted to Christ as our LORD and to the voice of the Holy Spirit for how to best love God and one another as we navigate each day of earthly life.
We believe each person is a child of God, made uniquely and intentionally to glorify the Lord through their very being. All who join the community of faith are called to discern, receive, and cultivate the spiritual gifts and skills God has provided them to be used for his glory in ministering in the world. We are living members of the spirit-led body of Christ in the world bringing Jesus to this place and time, individually and together. The gathering together of the family of faith is called ekklesia.
The Refuge is what we have named the shelter and gathering place for this ekklesia. We desire diverse ministry to co-exist in this home as God leads each of us diverse children to accept his call to faith and serving him in ministry work. We expect that to take many forms, from celebratory and contemplative worship to cooking classes, special needs parties to in-depth study, creative arts to holding babies for single mums… We look forward to what more God will do with us as a compassionate community serving the world in His name, so that any who choose might come to know the Light and the Life.
