The Refuge is a safe place for people seeking deeper relationship with Jesus in a world that's desperately trying to push Him away. The Refuge is a ministry hub for Gospel community, a gathering place for collaboration, discussion, creativity, and growth.
Ekklesia
Ekklesia is the earliest description given to non-Jews (gentiles) gathering in the name of Christ after the Resurrection, Believers came together in various settings and sizes of gatherings to learn together, encourage one another, and support conversion into following the Way of the Messiah. Yehoshua, meaning 'the Lord saves', was then called 'Yeshua', and is now called 'Jesus'. These gatherings, the ekklesia, were a refuge, a place of shared food, care, safety, and growth; Communion, Scripture, baptisms, songs, confession, repentance, and affirmations of mutual support,
all centering around living the Gospel.
At the Refuge, we host Ekklesia.
